PRAY FOR MALAYSIA
“I urge then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone – for kings and those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good and, and pleases God our Saviour.” 1Tim 2:1-3
As much as we may dislike whatever that is happening around our country (politically, economically and in other matters too!), God tells us to continue to PRAY for our country.
We pray for EVERYONE – ie. the entire population and every race in general. Let us extend our prayers to cover all who are in our nation at this time.
Then, we pray for our Kings, PM and all in authority as well. This is crucial at this time as our national leaders are facing critical times. Credibility, integrity and skills are being questioned. Alongside these matters are major decisions facing our nation and its leadership. PRAY for them.
Finally, we pray for ourselves too, that we may be role model citizens in our nation! Ask God to strengthen us at this time, to be useful to our nation and to be good supporters in PRAYER and righteous actions.
God is in CONTROL of this land and we TRUST in God’s goodness over our nation. He raises men in power and brings down as well.
